Ariana Grande gives spectacular “Honeymoon Tour” performance in Jakarta

Ariana Grande hit all the right notes in her “Honeymoon Tour” concert in Jakarta on Wednesday, mesmerizing fans with her impeccable performance in dance and ballad numbers.Ariana Grande’s concert in Jakarta reaffirmed her as one of the stars who can bring the house down with her, powerful four-octave soprano voice.

Grande seems to be joining the ranks of Britney, Christina, and Miley as she sheds her little girl appearances and demands the world see her as the woman that she’s become.

With her recent scandal involving doughnuts, it seems that Ariana and her manager are attempting some damage control. Despite the negative feedback Grande has been receiving about her attitude and actions, there’s no denying that the 22-year-old has talent. Those attending Ariana’s concerts on her Honeymoon Tour note that Grande has no need for theatrics or visual spectacles. It’s an impressive feat to be able to put on a dazzling performance without the need for fog machines and pyrotechnics. Ariana’s voice alone makes a good show and after all, that’s what it’s all about.

Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne perform duet on 1989 Tour

Days after rumors spread through social media that Avril Lavigne had thrown some 'shade' on Taylor Swift, the Canadian singer joined the Shake It Off star on stage in San Diego Saturday night.

Lavigne, 30, was invited by Swift, 25, to perform her 2002 hit Complicated - much to the raucous delight of fans at the sold out 1989 Tour concert at Petco Park.

As the petite blonde belted out her signature song, Swift danced enthusiastically alongside her before chiming in and singing with her.

Darryl Dawkins dies at the age of 58

Ex-NBA star Darryl Dawkins, nicknamed  'Chocolate Thunder' for his monster dunks - has died at the age of 58.

After a medical emergency this morning Dawkins was transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, Dawkins was not able to recover and was pronounced dead at 11:19 AM.  The nature of the medical emergency is unclear at the moment.

Officials say there is nothing suspicious about his death and no indication of foul play.

Dawkins was the first basketball player to be drafted to the NBA straight out of high school when he was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in 1975. Dawkins played in the NBA until 1989 and was a pioneer of the monster dunk:
